Social provider authentication

Allowing users to log in with their social accounts is user-friendly, eliminates password fatigue, and enhances security. Social logins streamline sign-ups and logins by leveraging existing credentials from popular OAuth providers, boosting conversion rates and daily active users.

Follow the guides in this section to integrate social logins into your login box.

Step 1: Enable social logins

Open the Login Box page in the Frontegg portal and toggle on the social providers that you'd want to add to your login / sign-up page.

Click "Review to Publish" to apply the changes to your development environment. The selected social logins are now added to your login box. To complete the setup, push the changes across environments and configure your credentials for the social providers.

Step 2: Configure social logins

To get you up and running quickly in development mode, Frontegg provides you with preconfigured shared OAuth credentials and redirect URLs (except for LinkedIn login). This means the social logins work immediately when toggled on without requiring additional configuration.
