Frontegg's integrations

Frontegg allows you to connect your app to external services. Preset integrations are available for Slack and Google Tag Manager. You can also use custom webhooks to route Frontegg events to any tool, such as a CRM, through your own endpoint. For messaging, you can send SMS through Twilio and deliver emails through an external email provider.

If a desired platform isn't available as a preset integration, you can always use a custom webhook to configure your own webhook connections, ensuring that even unique integration needs are addressed.

Explore the following integrations offered by Frontegg, and refer to the relevant guide for each topic to learn more:

Webhooks

Webhooks act as bridges between applications, enabling real-time communication and triggering actions. Essentially, a webhook is an HTTP callback that allows one application to automatically send data to another when a specific event occurs, eliminating the need for constant data polling. Third-party integration webhooks

Third-party integration webhooks link different software systems, often from various vendors, to work together seamlessly. This integration facilitates data exchange, allowing systems to leverage each other's features and functionalities.

To learn more about integrating with specific third-party systems, explore the following guides:

Prehooks

Unique to the Frontegg platform, prehooks give you fine-grained control over key user actions, such as signups and invites, by letting you run your own logic before these events complete. API prehooks send a REST call to your service and act based on the response, while custom code prehooks run your logic directly on Frontegg's side. Use prehooks to allow or block specific flows in real time. Learn more about Prehooks.
