## How do I record a .har file? A .har file tracks all the logging of a web browser's interaction with a site. Recording a .har file that shows all the requests and/or errors in your network tab provides valuable insights for the Frontegg team and helps with troubleshooting any issues you report. To record a .har file, please take the following steps: 1. Right-click in the browser window with your Frontegg login or your app integrated with Frontegg and select **Inspect**. 2. Click the **Network** tab in the panel that appears. 3. Make sure the 'Preserve log' section is checked: ![har](/assets/har-1.6828fd8074d7a48af37627e3a07abad4c05172b0b764b499c8fcbbc5eced6f8d.4f9c608e.png) 1. After completing the flow where you were getting errors, you can click on the arrow down symbol to export your .har file. ![har](/assets/har-2.fe55f7aa4c34bc9b1cbedb510e8dd37762ce5fe87b425e37e3d638f3e7d8c969.4f9c608e.png) 1. Once you have downloaded the .har file, you should sanitize it from sensitive values such as access information and PII. To do so, you can use [Frontegg's Harmor](https://harmor.dev/) as long as you have NPM (Node.js) installed. ### How to use Harmor? 1. Download the sanitization template [here](https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/g9t91a82geg2yrxnuzgd8/frontegg.json?rlkey=9vend1vw4mrtm5ehlgokrilcf&dl=0). 2. Open **Terminal/CMD** in the .har file location, and make sure the template and .har file are in the same directory.
