## Monitoring Management and your environments Each capability is available in all the environments you are using (Development, Staging, QA, and Production). Each environment reflects its own accounts and users. Typically, accounts and users in Development, Staging, and QA are for testing purposes, while those in Production are your customers, as well as possibly testing accounts/users. **You can filter your testing users** by filtering your domain in the **Excluded domains** filter located in the users section. ### Logged events Logs in your Frontegg portal allow you to view and analyze activities within your app and on additional third-party apps you are integrated with. You can use this feature for troubleshooting, debugging, and monitoring user activity. Logs will appear after completing your basic Frontegg integration and will include events from the [Logged Events ](/ciam/guides/monitoring/events-overview) list. ### Viewing your logs To access your logs: 1. Open the **Frontegg portal**. 2. Choose [ENVIRONMENT] → Monitoring → Logs. In the **Log** tab, you’ll find a list of recent events on your platform. Click a relevant event to open a detailed view of the log and associated data. Logs are viewable only for users with **Admin**, **Backoffice Editor**, and **Viewer** roles. ![Monitoring-Intro-1](/assets/monitoring-intro-1.3bee1479e500e1d10143a887cf6fcaa10aaba196ab25e1c41bc20d7c3470e882.e4384e24.png) ### Filtering logs To filter your log data, use the filter and select specific criteria such as date range, account, actor (who performed the action), and event type. ### Data retention Logs are retained for **7 days** before deletion. If longer retention is needed, please [contact us](https://frontegg.com/contact-sales). ## Log streaming Third-party log streaming Log streaming to third-party services is available **exclusively in the Production environment**. For details on each integration, refer to the specific integration documentation [here](/ciam/guides/monitoring/third-party-providers). ### Third-party log streaming You can stream your logs to third-party services, such as **Datadog** and **Amazon EventBridge**. Log streaming is accessible via the **Monitoring dashboard** under [PRODUCTION] → Monitoring. ![Monitoring-Intro-2](/assets/monitoring-intro-2.36edbc9a6f73c60c02c9d47662a3ea99ed9b8a219f43f85a610dc12de6a1da95.e4384e24.png) From this dashboard, you can link/disconnect and manage your third-party tools (e.g., Datadog, Amazon EventBridge). Good to Know Your logs are searchable and filterable by various criteria (e.g., date, event type) and can be streamed in real-time to third-party tools like **Datadog** and **Amazon EventBridge**. This lets you monitor the Frontegg platform within your existing tools and workflows. ### Connect / manage log streaming To connect or manage your log streaming: 1. Click **Connect/Manage** for the relevant third-party tool. 2. Fill in the required fields for each integration. 3.
