ValueCore integration

ValueCore is a value intelligence platform that helps B2B revenue teams build, visualize, and share ROI models and business cases.

Agen.co connects to ValueCore through ValueCore's own hosted MCP server as an Official connector. Each user signs in with their own ValueCore account, and agents can only reach the cases and approved models that account already has access to. There is no app to register and no credentials to copy.

Prerequisites

  • A ValueCore account for each person whose agents will use the connector.
  • Sign in with a personal ValueCore user account. Do not use an Organization API Key with the MCP server.

Connect ValueCore in Agen.co

ValueCore registers Agen.co automatically, so there is no client ID or secret to copy and no callback URL to register.

  1. In the Agen.co portal, go to Connectors → My connectors and click Add connector.

  2. In the Select connector drawer, search for ValueCore and select it. The Add ValueCore panel opens.

  3. Fill in the field:

    FieldRequiredDescription
Instance SlugYesNamespaces this instance — it prefixes each imported tool as slug__tool, so several instances of the same MCP can coexist. Prefilled with valuecore. Use lowercase kebab-case. You can change it later from the connector's settings.
  4. Click Connect. ValueCore opens in a new tab, and the panel shows Waiting for authorization — complete it in the opened tab…

  5. On the Sign in to ValueCore page, sign in with your ValueCore credentials and approve access. The sign-in page is served from api.visualize-roi.com, ValueCore's original domain, which is expected.

  6. Back in Agen.co, the panel switches to Select the tools to import from ValueCore. Every tool is toggled on; turn off any you don't want to import, then click Add.

The connector is created and its tools imported only when you click Add. If you close the panel before that, nothing is saved, even if the ValueCore tab reported success.

What it covers

ValueCore's MCP server lets an agent find a business case, read its inputs and assumptions, update values, and turn the result into a share link or PowerPoint.

AreaWhat it covers
DiscoveryCheck who is signed in, and list, find, and select visualizers
ManagementList visualizer types, create and update visualizers, and set input values
Analysis and outputCalculate results, share a visualizer and see share activity, and export to PowerPoint
External dataRead CRM opportunities and search the case study library

The list follows ValueCore's MCP connector page (18 tools, checked 2026-10-06) and can change.

Enabling the ValueCore connector isn't enough on its own. Tool calls remain denied until you create a policy that grants access to the specific tools you want to expose.
