## Superhuman integration

Superhuman is an email and calendar client built for speed, with an AI assistant ("Ask AI") layered on top. Superhuman publishes its own **official MCP server**, so Agen.co connects to it directly as an **Official** connector, giving your agents access to email search, drafting, and calendar management through your account's existing Superhuman Mail permissions.

Prerequisites
- A Superhuman Mail account on a **Business plan or higher**
- **Ask AI** enabled on the account
- On Enterprise accounts, admin approval may be required


### Connect Superhuman in Agen.co

1. In the Agen.co portal, go to **Connectors** → **Marketplace**, click **Add connector**, and filter **Type** to **Official**.
2. Select **Superhuman**.
3. Optionally fill in **Instance Slug** — distinguishes multiple instances of this MCP connector by prefixing each imported tool as `slug__tool`. Use lowercase kebab-case; leave empty for a single instance. This value is immutable after creation.
4. Click **Connect**.


You're redirected to Superhuman to sign in and approve access. No Client ID or Client Secret needs to be entered manually.

Once connected, Superhuman appears under **My connectors** with tools spanning:

|  --- | --- |
| **Email** | Searching, drafting, sending, trashing, and unsubscribing from email |
| **Calendar** | Creating and updating events, and checking availability |
| **Threads** | Fetching threads, updating labels, starring/unstarring, and marking read or done |
| **Accounts** | Linking multiple accounts, setting a default account, and removing linked accounts |
| **Attachments & status** | Retrieving attachments and tracking read status |
| **Search** | Natural-language semantic search across email and calendar |
| **Personalization** | Managing personalization settings |


Enabling the Superhuman connector isn't enough on its own. Tool calls remain denied until you create a [policy](/agen-for-work/policies/overview) that grants access to the specific tools you want to expose.
